Shropshire Masters Inter County Gala. 12th November 2017 Rugby.

Hi Shropshire Master Swimmers

I would like to thank you all for agreeing to swim for Shropshire at the National Inter-County Masters at Rugby on Sunday 12th November 2017.

We had an excellent afternoon of swimming, and for Shropshire to finish in 3rd place was just awesome. There were some fantastic swims by many, and I am sure that many of you will have possibly done PB's. We performed very well and attained a number of 2nd and 3rd places, which was great, considering the strength of Warwickshire and Nottinghamshire.

The Final result was as below:-

1st Warwickshire 503 points

2nd Nottinghamshire 408 points

3rd Shropshire 317 points

4th Leicestershire 293 points

5th Stafffordshire 289 points

6th Northamptonshire 227 points

7th Worcester County 179 points

I have hopefully attached the full results for you all to see.

I am looking to arrange our County Masters Champs for 2018 in either April or late September, and I will keep you all informed of the progress. Also keep looking on the Shropshire Website and Facebook, as we will keep updating both from time to time.
